UA9CDC: The first days of December 2007, Igor UA9CDC was moving across Italy with his wife when sent a "cq" to the CQContest reflector.

We replied, and he joined us for the 2007 ARRL 10m Contest. We were planning no serious activity that day, but we had a brand new 2x4yagi monoband stacked system to try.

On that cold Sunday, he reached us by train from Rome, and spent the whole day with us. Igor is a really nice guy, and a great contester. He could help us testing the 10m stack (a bit more than 30 QSOs were made, not bad for that sunspot season!) and even had a small entry into the 40/80m Italian Contest using IZ4EFN's callsign on CW.

Igor had a nice impression of the station setup at IO4T, an promised to come back soon. One option could be ARRL CW 2009: that's a no-fun contest from UA9 land, while it's easily enjoyable from south Europe!

We'll see!

IZ3EYZ: Matteo (Matt) is a young contester from Padova, Italy.

He is one of the operators at IR4X, have a previous experience at WRTC and is often in touch with our team due to projects, comments, etc.

He decided to give IO4T a try in August 2008, during WAE CW 2008 (click to get pictures and declared score). He joined the contest as SO2R, using the callsign IO4T.

He had fun and gave us the opportunity to let someone else try the shack and give an opinion.

We must confess that he is a good guy, really loving radio and contesting, and he is always avaiable for skills and technical sharing.

He also persented a SO2R-related work at our "1st Modena Contest Meeting", in October 2008.

IZ4AFW: Fabio is an Electrical Engineer who lives in Bologna.
He joined us in 2005/2006 and took part to some contests during 2005-2006-2007.

He is a SSB operator.

IK4ZGO: Stefano is a good CW operator.

He joined us several times and worked some hours during 2006 and 2007.

IK2CIO: Vinicio joined us during 2005 CQWW SSB.

We had a chance to know him, play some mults together and even joking.

IK2JUB: Stefano is a contester from Milan.

He is one of the guys behind IQ2CJ, and keeps in touch with us very often.

We had a great time together during 2007 CQWW SSB.

Stefano is the chief behind the contest stations IR2C/IQ2CJ, and gained a 5th place at the WRTC competition in Brasil.

IK2SNG: Tony IK2SNG is a guy from Pavia, Italy.

He is a good friend of Robi IK4XCL and Gus IK4RQJ. Tony joined the team several times in the past, but the funniest time he had with us was during EU HF Championship 2008, where he operated from IO4T as Single Operator.

I1HJT: Alfeo joined us during CQWW DX CW 2008.

We had a nice time together during the 90% of the contest time he spent with us.

Alfeo has a good cotnest perception, and is a great CW operator.

Besides this, he is always avaiable if something needs any sort of fixing, and doesn't hesitate at helping on thecnical details.

Alfeo has been involved in several DX-peditions during his 20+ years of activity.
